Please take a moment to visit the TAADD page. My most recent note is a request for Impact Statements for a hearing. The killer has pled nolo contendre or “no contest” but there will be a pre-trial investigation (I am assuming that the information is for the judge, in order to determine the degree of punishment). The sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 16. This killer is a REPEAT offender with THREE prior DUIs! HOWEVER, because the last DOCUMENTED DUI was more than ten years ago, this KILLER could be treated as a FIRST TIME offender and be given probation. We cannot let this injustice occur. Please Take A Stand. Let your Voice be heard. Spread the news and share this information. Submit an impact statement and Make a Difference.
